Sharon Straus is a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto, Director of the Knowledge Translation Program at Unity Health Toronto and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Stephen Toope is president and CEO of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR). Previously, he served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, President of the University of British Columbia and is a Fellow of Royal Society of Canada.
